The Eppley Institue for Parks and Public Lands at Indiana University has partnered with the National Park Service to develop training for parks and recreation professionals.

There are several online courses that are available to the general public free of charge.  If you want to be a Park Ranger and are looking for a way to beef up your resume, you might consider completing some the online courses that are available:

Introduction to the National Park Service:  The Organization of the NPS

Introduction to the National Park Service: The NPS and the Federal Government

Foundations of Interpretation

Informal Visitor Contacts

Understanding American Wilderness

Have you already completed this training?  If so, what did you think?
